What configurations and adjustments are important during the installation of the track system?
When installing the Apache track system on your Can-Am off-road vehicle, several configurations and adjustments are important:
- Steering Alignment: Steering alignment must be set according to the vehicle's ADJUSTMENT INSTRUCTION SHEET, then reset to the vehicle's specifications when the track system is removed.
- Four-Wheel Drive Only Mode: Steering control is reduced in 2x4 mode. Always drive in four-wheel drive mode when the Can-Am off-road vehicle is equipped with a track system.
- Speedometer Reading: For Can-Am off-road vehicles from model years 2014 and newer, use the DPS module included with the track system to correct the speedometer reading and adjust power steering behavior.
- Pre-use Check: Before each ride, visually inspect all track system components, including tracks, frames, and wheels. Also, check track tension and remove any accumulated snow or ice from the parts.
