How to adjust the heating in a vehicle?

To adjust the heating, use the central control panel which consists of three rotary switches, as described in the service manual: 1. **Temperature adjustment (left knob):** Turn right to increase the heat or left for cooler air. 2. **Fan adjustment (middle knob):** Allows you to choose between four speeds to set the airflow. 3. **Air distribution (right knob):** Directs the airflow (towards the windshield for defrosting, towards the feet, or towards the upper body via the air vents). **Specific instructions for efficient heating:** * **Quick heating:** Turn the temperature switch to the right, set the fan to speed 3, and place the air distributor in the desired position. * **Heating towards the feet:** Turn the temperature to the right, set the air distribution to the corresponding symbol (feet), and turn on the fan. It is advisable to close the central air vents while the passenger compartment heats up. Note that heating performance depends on the engine coolant temperature; it will therefore only be fully effective once the engine has reached its operating temperature.
