Press the heart-shaped button (Magic Key) and enter the 4-digit secret code. Ensure the device is not in demonstration mode by using the reset button on the back of the battery compartment if necessary.

Press the Reset button located on the back of the device; this action erases the current secret code. You will be prompted to define a new 4-digit code the next time you access the journal.
