What is FBV Mode on the device, and what are its different sub-modes and their primary uses?

FBV Mode defines how optional Line 6 foot controllers (such as the FBV Express or FBV Shortboard) control your Spider Jam device, determining specific functions assigned to the pedals. There are two main sub-modes:

  1. Normal Mode: Primarily used for selecting user banks and channels (Presets A, B, C, D).
  2. Jam Control Mode: Provides access to transport functions for recording (Rec/Overdub, Play/Stop, Undo/Clear) and direct song selection via the footswitch.

What functions remain consistent regardless of the selected FBV Mode?

Regardless of the mode chosen, the foot controllers generally allow activation/deactivation of the Distortion Boost, effects (Modulation, Delay, Reverb), and control of Wah/Volume and Tap Tempo.
